We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

Nestle Purina UK&I Grocery Sales is a team of 40 people from very varied backgrounds and all walks of life. Within such a large team, there are many of us who have been affected in some way by mental health issues, whether that be directly or with a family member or friend. We, along with many others, recognise the wonderful work that Mind do to help people on their journey to a happier life and we would like to offer our support in raising more funds for this wonderful organisation…..We will therefore be undertaking a series of epic challenges through the summer of 2019, starting with a 23km trek along the last leg of the Jurassic Coastline with the entire team at the end of June. Throughout July & August, in smaller teams, we’ll also be climbing the highest mountain in Wales, Mount Snowdon, conquering the Yorkshire Three Peaks, walking a marathon from Eastbourne to Brighton…all leading to our grand finale at the end of September where we come back together as a full team to tackle Box Hill, Surrey…We would love your support in sponsoring our team challenge and raising money for Mind….we’ll be recording videos and taking lots of pictures throughout each challenge and will be putting this together to launch one complete challenge video on World Mental Health Day on 10th October 2019. Thanks in advance for your support.

It pains me to be so brutally honest and say that periodically I have been hit with bouts of mental unwellness, and so know at times how dark it can feel, especially having lost an incredible, perfect mum at age 21. Being part of a BIG amazing family though gets me through anything. To think that if I didn't have them there was a light at the end of the tunnel in the amazing charity Mind who bring that help to those that need it most. This will be what keeps me mentally pushing to do all of these tough challenges!
