Lauren's sponsored hair cut!

Lauren's sponsored hair cut! · 25 January 2014
Thank you for Taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!:)
I am doing a sponsored hair cut for the little princess trust, where I will also donate my hair to the charity to help make wigs for children suffering hair loss. When hearing about the charity I immediately looked them up and read about the fantastic work they do to help children who feel unhappy with their hair loss.
I decided to fundraise for the Little Princess Trust after realising how life changing the work they do is to the children and their families. I would like to think that in the future that a wig would be available to anyone who needed them. I know that if a child in my family was unfortunate enough to loose their hair, I would like to think there would be some way in which they could be helped to feel happier with their hair loss.
On average, the cost of one wig to the charity is £350 which is why I am trying to raise at least £100 (obviously the more money the better!) to go towards the costs of making my donated hair into a wig.
In the UK, approximately 2,400 children and teenagers are diagnosed with cancer every year, having a wig from the Little Princess Trust could help make the side effects of chemotherapy more bearable for more and more children with the help of hair and money donations.
I would like to thank in advance everyone who is supporting me and sponsoring me. Everyone's support is very encouraging, and I really appreciate everyone's donations.
