Everybody knows somebody or knows of somebody that has been affected by cancer. Unfortunately, it’s continuing to have a devastating impact on more and more people and despite there being a number of organisations across the globe that are continuously doing their utmost in terms of research, tests, treatments and fundraising, Cancer is still managing to disrupt and destroy so many people’s lives.

To try and help continue the great work that these organisations do, me and some of my colleagues at Centre Tank Services will be taking part in the X-Runner Water Wipeout Xtreme Obstacle Race to raise money for Cancer Research UK! 

Anyone who knows me well will know that: 1) Physical activity is not my strong point; 2) I don’t do the outdoors - unless it’s a beach somewhere nice and hot; and 3) Getting covered in mud is my idea of a nightmare – unless it’s spa related!

So on that note, I would be really grateful if you could support me and the other members of the CTS Team in raising money for a more than worthy cause by contributing as little or as much as you wish to our fundraising goal for Cancer Research UK – we will be delighted in all the support that we can get.
