I have chosen to run for Scope as this is a charity which is very close to my heart as my Uncle David has Cerebral Palsy.I know the work that Scope have put in to ensure that he is well looked after and can enjoy life and do the normal every day things we all take for granted, without taking away his own independance.

Scope dont just stop there, they also help families cope with the long term care and have helped my nan enormously over the years. Some have become so close to the family that we have them over for family BBQ's.

Also, my friend Steve who is also running the marathon this year (2nd time! crazy guy!!) has offered  to help me hit my target for this fantastic charity!
