Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
For some crazy reason last May, I thought it would be a good idea to set myself a challenge and as I never do things by halves I thought the Brighton Marathon would be a good start so i signed up!
I am currently training hard and looking forward to (or not!!!) the challenge of running 26miles on 10th April 2011. Yes, I have started having running nightmares! But what it helping keep motivated is the charity I am supporting - League of Friends Of Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre, Haywards Heath.
The charity means a lot to me and I am doing this in memory of my sister Rebecca Jones who sadly died of a Brain Tumour 20 years ago (aged 11) and another dear friend of mine who was treated at Hurstwood Park. The hospital helps, Patients & Relatives, Surgeons & Staff and all amenities of the Centre, which cares for Brain Tumours, Aneurysms, Strokes, Road Traffic Accidents, M.S., Alzheimer's, Motor Neurone Disease, etc.

Thank you and wish me luck...i'll need it : )
