As you will all know by now if you're visiting this page, I have been diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. Hodgkin lymphoma is a relatively rare type of lymphoma, but they do say it is curable. There are only about 1400 cases diagnosed a year in the UK (arent I special lol). I'm wanting to raise money for the Lymphoma Assosciation who are trying to raise awareness of the disease which is most common in the 15-25 age group. I can say myself I'd never heard of it until now. I'm just thankful I had the sense to get the lump in my neck checked out asap. The charity also offers help and support to those affected by lymphoma and their families and friends.
Because I'm going to lose my hair through the chemoI shaved it off on Friday 26th February infront of a local newspaper photographer, reporter and family and friends. In support to me, my house mates, Luke Corrigan and Chris Holmes shaved their hair off and waxed their legs and Graham Curtis shaved his eyebrows off.
