Story

We have decided to participate in a 100K walk along the Jurassic Coast in June 2019, which starts in Poole Harbour and finishes in Bridport, in order to raise as much funds as possible for 2 wonderful charities that are close to our hearts. In March 2018 our baby boy Sidney Rose was stillborn at full term. It was an unpredictable and truly heartbreaking moment, and one that the medical world has been unable to explain. The support we have received from our chosen charities - SANDS and The Firgrove Centre - has been truly magnificent. SANDs are a national charity and we participate in monthly group meetings with other parents/families who have been through similar experiences. The Firgrove Centre (located in Shirley, Southampton) have supplied both of us with personal counselling and advice. Nothing can ever replace the loss of our little boy, but the support provided by these charities has been invaluable in helping both of us get back on our feet.

We have 2 pages set up. 1 for SANDS (Lauren) and 1 for The Firgrove Centre (William). We are trying to spread donations as equally as possible! To Donate to The Firgrove Centre please visit: https://www.justgiving.com/William-Rose9
