My Dad was diagnosed with Colon and Liver Cancer in August 2011. He had been undergoing numerous amounts of treatment including Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy. Unfortunately there was no cure for his Illness, and he sadly passed away Friday 2rd May 2013.

I completed the 100km Walk from London to Brighton for my Dad, Mum and Family in 29 hours! I had achey muscles, sore feet and at some points wanted to give up! However, through support from everyone and determination I finished!

My Dad was the strongest person I knew and the amount of courage he showed, in these last couple of years inspired me. Even though he wasn't present on the day, I know he was watching over me, allowing the sun to shine!

My Mum has been the rock of the family and has kept strong throughout, trying her best to keep us all postive during this time. Without her I wouldn't of been able to complete the walk.

I have decided to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. I think they are aware that cancer is one of the toughest fights most of us will ever face. I feel that the team they have in place, offers families support, meaning they don't have to go through things alone.
