We have been involved with Mercy Ships for 16 years, ever since the Anastasis visited the port of Avonmouth where Laurence was on placement in 1993.

In 2004 Laurence had a sabatical and chose to spend some of it with Mercy Ships in Sierre Leone.  

Mercy Ships is an amazing organisation making a real difference in the lives of some of the poorest people in the world.  Cleft lip and Palete operations, removal of huge facial tumours, cateract operations, health education, water and sanitation project ... they do it all.

In 2009 we celebrate our silver wedding anniversary.  To celebrate we are undertaking a sponsored trek up Mount Kenya - the second highest moutain in Africa at nearly 5000m - in Mid September.  We would be very grateful for your support in this.
