I am honored to participate to the DLA Piper Simien Mountains Challenge with 45 colleagues from DLA Piper offices all over the world.

The challenge is to embark on a 4 days trek across the Simien Mountains in Ethiopia with the goal of reaching the summit of Mount Bwahit at 4,450m.

This challenge is dedicated to raise - for this event - more than 250.000 euros for UNICEF.

My personal target is to raise 7.000 euros.

And I need you to achieve that target.

DLA Piper and UNICEF have been working together since 2013 in an award winning partnership to strengthen the protection of children around the world.

During the three years of our partnership DLA will provide pro bono assistance for UNICEF to the estimated value of US$5 million towards UNICEF’s global child justice program. We have also pledged to raise US$1.5 million for this area of UNICEF's work, through a corporate donation and employee fundraising, to help ensure that children coming into contact with the law are better served and protected.

UNICEF is a team of extraordinarily passionate people, dedicating their time and efforts to aid children in need around the world. While they're doing an amazing job, they definitely need all the help they can get.

And this is where the Siemen challenge fits in.

All the money raised will go directly to UNICEF (I will naturally cover my own travel cost for this event).

Your donations, however big or small, 10 to 10,000 euros, will make a difference.
