This page has been set up in memory of Laurie who died on 23rd July 2009 having been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January. Your donation would be appreciated as a positive response to his death with the hope that other sufferers and their families will be helped. Laurie attracted a wide range of friends from both the horse world, particularly riding clubs, and the wider community. Sarah and the family have received such warm messages of sympathy and understanding plus so many kind offers asking "is there anything we can do?" Well, yes. Please support this worthwhile charity in Laurie's name, and let us hope that our combined efforts will contribute to successful research into this devastating cancer.
Laurie would want our response to be helpful to others - and may we all continue to enjoy the friendship and thrills of riding that he did so much to encourage.
