Every year we support thousands of children and families right across the country. We provide rehabilitation to help children make the best recovery possible after a serious accident or illness, both at our national specialist centre in Tadworth and in the community.

Story

Thank you for visiting this page, but this is only the first step! I really need you to dig into your pocket to help a very deserving cause

The Children's Trust is a national charity that provides a unique combination of specialised care, therapy and education to children who have an acquired brain injury as a result of illness or a tragic accident. Most of the children that The Children's Trust cares for cannot walk or talk, and have impaired hearing or vision, or both; many cannot swallow and require feeding by tube; some cannot breathe independently and depend on artificial ventilation

But through the work of The Children's Trust, kids are given the chance to lead a fulfilled and happy childhood, and their families are supported in dealing with the situation and making plans for the future.

My words don't do justice to all the work they do, so please take the time to have a look at the website (www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk) to see what goes on and to read a some of stories about the children that The Children's Trust has helped.

But there's also a very personal element to this. Cath has been working for nearly two years as a teacher in the school for the children with acquired brain injury, and I can't help but be moved when she talks about some of the kids she teaches and the progress they are able to make as a result of the work that the Trust does.

I hope that you can support this cause - your generosity is much appreciated.

Thank you!!
