Story
So, it seems I am taking on a daring feat. Sunday 19th May - Saturday 25th May. Seven whole days of eating nothing but raw food. Now I don't know about you, but I generally like my food cooked, and an unsatified stomach can leave me quite grouchy. Needless to say, this is going to be somewhat tricky.
No bread
No cheese
No delicious nutty granola cereal in the morning
Please dig deep, folks; because, if I survive the week, I want to know I've at least made a difference to someone.
This challenge is part of #SpringToAction. We're fundraising to get together £4,650 to set up a farm in a rural area of Pakistan which will be a livelihood for several families and look after a whole village! Not only will it be a means of provision for people struggling in poverty, but the farm will also be a source of healthy freshly grown food.
Think about it... anyone who contributes gets reward for every single time a person eats produce from the farm, every single time an animal eats produce from it and for the livelihood it brings to many, potentially for generations to come!
You're a clever one, I can tell. So invest in some charity that will go on and on and on.
Donate and then get all your friends and family to do it too so you can greedily grab all their reward on top of your own. Sometimes it pays to be a little selfish.
