The Three of us have decided to take part in the 'Great South Run' this year. There are many reasons for this, but the main one is to help raise money for 'The Brooke' Hospital for working animals. In developing countries there are thousands, if not more, poor, hungry, injured animals working to help families live their day-to-day lives. Many factors mean that the working animals are left to carry extremely heavy loads in difficult conditions, some with sores and injuries, malnutrition and thist.
Just a small amount of money can help towards simple things such as shelter and water stops for them as they work, or injections to save them for various illnesses, as well as vets who can treat them when they have fallen their last fall.
Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
