<p>&nbsp;<span lang="EN-GB">My dad was taken from us last August very quickly by Oesophageal Cancer. <br /><br />The months since his death have been extremely difficult for us all; especially for myself, mum and my little sister. My dad was an amazing man who has left such a strong presence in everyone he knew.<br /><br />Oesophageal Cancer is one of the fastest growing cancers in men today in the western world. I am now along with the help of a good friend in the process of arranging a Charity Dinner &amp; Dance so that both family and friends can celebrate my dad&rsquo;s life as well as raise funds for the on-going research into Oesophageal Cancer.<br /><br />Proceeds from the evening will hopefully go a small way in assisting the doctors and research teams to diagnose and treat this disease sooner, and to help save some lives along the way. <br /><br />The evening will be an opportunity for people to donate to an excellent cause, and ultimately pay tribute to a wonderful husband, father and friend. </span></p> <p><span lang="EN-GB">The Charity Dinner &amp; Dance will take place on Saturday 26th November 2011 from 630pm till 1am at The Hilton Hotel, Seven Hills Road South Cobham KT11 1EW. The night will include a three course meal, disco, raffles and auctions.&nbsp; Ticket Price &pound;45. The hotel will also be offering discounted room whether it be single&nbsp;or double&nbsp;for &pound;70 with code GOESA before 31st May 2011 or after quote GOESB.
