CLDF and the British Liver Trust have merged - we are the only UK charity for all liver conditions. We support parents, children, young people and adults affected, through tailored support and information, and we campaign for improved early detection and better treatment and care.

Story

I knew Margaret for 16 years, as she had been a very close family friend of Lindsay's for pretty much all of her life. During that time, she was very much involved in the major events in our life and a kinder, more generous person you could not wished to have met.

Margaret had lived with the liver disease called PSC for 16 years and last year developed Cholangiocarcinoma.  She died within 6 weeks of becoming ill, and we are now raising money for the British Liver Trust who have agreed to ring fence all the money raised to support some research into earlier diagnosis.

With this in mind, we are undertaking a 22 mile bike ride on 5th June, through the Hampshire countryside. Yes, I know its only 22 miles, however, it is the day after my brothers 40th birthday party!!! Any funds raised will be matched by my employer HSBC.
