We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Increasing numbers of friends, colleagues and family members are being touched directly and indirectly by Alzheimer’s disease, they face very significant financial and emotional challenges of caring for loved ones.

The Alzheimer’s Association®, the leading voluntary organization in Alzheimer research, is dedicated to caring and support and finding prevention methods, treatments and an eventual cure for the disease.

We plan to raise money in aid of the Alzheimer’s Association and this is why we need your support.

Please consider making a donation no matter how small (or large !)

The team consists of riders Emma Ashford, Mike Adlen and Lee Boothby plus support vehicle driven by Martin Wright, we are all employees of DuPont Teijin Films UK Ltd.

We aim to complete a non stop bike ride starting from our site in Dumfries , Scotland and finishing at our Wilton site in Teeside.  The journey will cover approximately 140miles with a climb over the Pennines at the half way point !

This is a very significant challenge that we estimate will take between 12-14hrs.
