For those of you I haven't bored yet, me and a mate from work are running the London marathon this year in April. We chose a local charity called Children 1st.  For those of you who have never heard of them, they are a Scottish version of NSPCC.  Children 1st support children suffering from all forms of abuse, neglect, bereavment and family breakdown.

Ok so it all sounded a good idea last year, now I have to up the training, down the weight, brave the cold, sacrafice the time and most important, suck up the moanin!  All I need you to do, and its not even for me, is press the DONATE button and forget all about it!

Since working in Social Care , I've realised how resilient and content the people I meet are. Its us that moan all the time. So I will go through utter torture for 4-5 hours and beleive me its my first and last marathon and will be torture, just to help those who go through far more for a lot longer.
