Movember · 1 November 2012

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are a bunch from North East Ambuance Service staff who are growing a 'mo' or indeed any other facial hair as part of Movember.

We are hoping to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research in honour of our much loved and still missed, colleague and friend, Paramedic Craig Allison. Craig battled against Leukaemia over the latter part of 2011, he gave it a bloody good fight but sadly lost his life to this condition.

Might not be the most enduring challeneg ever but it's for a worthy cause and every penny counts.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
