Story

Hi Everyone,

I'm sending this to you because you know me and with that, you'll know that I have a thing about the birds (poultry that is)!

Some call me the 'chicken man', others just a weirdo...

Chicken-fan or not, I'm sure you'll join me in raising money for The Battery Hen Welfare Trust - the charity that improves and extends the lives of Battery Hens by re-homing them into a more natural and caring environment.

The Battery Hen Welfare Trust has re-homed 140,612 hens to-date and with 18 million to go - they need our help!

The £350 I have pledged to raise will buy a small chicken house and 5 bags of special food to help get the girls back up to full strength before they are re-homed.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - I hope I've inspired you sufficiently to put your hand in your pocket and sponsor me…  If not, think about me running 13.1 miles on the 11th October and dig deep - every bit helps! –

Don’t forget to make it ‘tax-effective’ with Gift Aid and in doing so, use your taxes to support this great cause rather than Minister’s expenses!

Do it now…

Thank you!

Lee
