At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Hello!

All the details are below on how to give but I want to personally say a big thankyou for choosing to donate to what is a great charity.

It takes 8 days to climb Kilimanjaro which is the highest freestanding mountain in the world and highest on the African continent at 5,896 metres! We set off sometime in 2012 (delayed from February as raising £4k is quite a task!)  and although im looking forward to this im not to keen on the 'exercise plan' i've been sent! (less beer, more running :( )

The money I raise will drive me on to ensure I am in 'suitable condition' to climb and knowing it is going to a great charity in the Alzheimers Society is a great motivator! Thanks, Lee
