Story

Hello & Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On May 6th 2010 , two friends and I take on a  formiddable Coast 2 Coast Bike challenge to raise vital funds for Cure Leukaemia.

This endurance bike challenge takes us from coast to coast -  through the Lake District , over the Pennines and onto Geordie land.  On and off-road ,  We cover nearly 180 miles in 3 days !!!  God help us

This charity is very close to my heart.   The charity supports the Haematological Oncology centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital  that Emma and I attend on a regular basis for blood tests and consultancy.  They provide ground breaking research around stem cell cancer treatments which are more effective as they attack the root cause and save having to blitz the whole body.

It's a specialist centre looking that offers support to Cancer patients and provides critical research into life saving drugs...     Emma's current chemotherapy drug Glivec , was tested at this centre.

I no times are tough on ££  , but I also know through my own experience how many people cancer affects ......  and the fact is that 1 in 3 people will be affected by cancer in their lifetime.....    So please dig deep and donate now.  Thank you
