<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>There are a lot of great charities and a lot are close to my heart but the one closest if BabyBeat, it's aimed at giving the little Mr Men and Little Miss a fighting chance on their journey into the world and when they arrive in the world.</p> <p>I am running the Liverpool Marathon on 9th October 2011 for The Royal Preston Hosital Maternity Unit charity called Baby Beat.<br /><br />Now to raise money for sponsorship I am using the slogan Running a Marathon for the price of a Snickers!!" (a lot of the younger ones can even remember Snickers being called Marathon!)<br /><br />I would ask people to sponsor for:<br /><br />1. Individual Snicker&nbsp; &pound;0.55p<br />2. Pack of 3 = &pound;1.35p<br />3. Multipack &pound;2,09<br /><br />Etc<br /><br />Obvious if people want more than one they can! It's a one off sponsorship not per mile, it is a way of getting a little from a large amount as I know&nbsp; people already give a lot.</p> <p>It has generated a lot of pledges as it isnt asking for too much.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving &ndash; they&rsquo;ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they&rsquo;ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it&rsquo;s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.</p> <p>So any amount given whetehr a penny or a pount goes to the Baby Beat Charity.</p>
