The route follows the Ridgeway path from Ivinghoe Beacon, Buckingshire to Barbury Castle near Swindon. The event is held over the period 11 - 13 Nov 2011 with partcicpants covering 26 - 29 miles each day. It aims to offer support and friendship to those who have sadly lost their husband/wife or recognised partner. <span class="url"><span style="color: #000000;">The AWA offers its support to all widows bereaved, death can have been as a result of many reasons: illness, conflict, suicide, training accidents.
