Hi everyone my name is Lee and I am part of the team

“Coast to Coast Kayak Challenge in aid of the RNLI”

As crazy as it sounds I plan, along with my fellow colleagues, to kayak the length of the Caledonian Canal from Fort William to Inverness. A staggering distance of 60 miles and all this in just two days!!

So why am I participating in this crazy event? Well firstly as a tribute to Gavin Butcher, a fellow volunteer crew member on the Newhaven Lifeboat who lost his battle with cancer in late February.

 And

Secondly to help the RNLI raise funds to enable their volunteers  to operate 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
