Flora London Marathon 2007 · 22 April 2007 ·

Imagine being told that you, or someone you love, is losing their sight. In that moment, two profound questions demand urgent answers: Can this be stopped? How will I live my life? We fund the brilliant minds and bright ideas, putting change in sight for everyone impacted by vision loss.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

On 22nd April I will be running the Flora London Marathon.  All money raised will go to Fight for Sight a UK charity giving money to research into the prevention of blindness.  My Cousin Paul's little boy Tommy suffers with Choroideremia and Paul and Emma have been raising money since Tommy was diagnosed in February 2005.  I want to do my bit in helping them find a cure.  Choroideremia only affects males and will start to affect Tommy with night blindness in his early teens if no cure is found Tommy will eventually lose his sight.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Fight for Sight will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
