Fundraising for Sarah Groves Foundation

Something that has been on my bucket list for a long time is to take part in a cycling tour. Turns out the one I’ve picked is much tougher than I had ever dreamed about but also too good an opportunity to turn down and a potential once in a life time experience!
I will be cycling from Home to Rome!!! Over 10 full on days we will be cycling 1,969km with an elevation of 23,284m all through the Mountains! That’s almost 200k a day with hills steeper than the Val de Terres!!!...Yes I’m crazy!
Training has already started and I’ve now hit my longest ever days cycle of 125 miles (200k)... I’ll have to be doing this almost every day nearer the time. So please keep my motivation going by donating towards this event where ALL proceeds (I have covered the costs of the trip) will go directly to the amazing charity I’m doing this all for - The Sarah Groves Foundation!
On April 6th 2013 Sarah Groves was tragically murdered on a houseboat in Kashmir. The devastation and grief caused by this inexplicable event has been indescribable. Hundreds, if not thousands of people have been affected emotionally and some are receiving counselling as a direct result.
Due to Sarah's insatiable love of life however, together with her desire to make a change in the world, and her determination to help as many people as she could, the Sarah Groves Foundation has been set up in Guernsey as a Charitable Trust. It will focus on Sarah's inspirations and aspirations, which came from art, children, adventure, and fitness. This fund will continue Sarah's legacy, which is all about love, helping others, and achieving ones dreams. It would hugely appreciated if you could donate to this cause no matter how much, small or large... and I’ll do the hard work by attempting to complete this “mountainous” cycling challenge, let alone all the miles I’ll need to cover over the winter to keep the fitness up!
