The Leeds Funds   Together we can make a bigger difference.    Leeds Children and Young People Fund Leeds Community Foundation believes that childhood is a time where important lessons are learned about our strengths, who we are as individuals, and how we work and play together as a community. That is why, in 1020-11, we invested a total of 1.5 million (35%) of our grants) in amazing projects supporting children and young people to build a better future.    By donating today, you could help to: o   Give young carers (children as young as 10 who spend several hours each day caring for parents or siblings) a residential break at a seaside activity centre and a chance to explore new adventures. o   Enable young people at risk to learn about character-building and making choices at a free, drop in karate class. o   Let a young person know that you believe they can make a difference, by funding programmes that challenge them to use their talents to do, learn, and contribute more.   Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
