Welcome to our Justgiving page, where you can donate monies to help us to continue the work that we do.  As a localy voluntary group of Sands, we are reliant upon all our wonderful fundraisers to help us provide this vital service.

Leeds Sands are a group of bereaved parents who provide support and information for bereaved parents and families following the tragic death of a precious baby either before, during, or shortly after birth.

The support we provide is free of charge and is open to all bereaved parents, their families and friends, no matter how long ago the loss occurred.  We also have close links with hospitals in Yorkshire and provide support, information and training to Health Professionals.

We work with and promote the three core aims of Sands as a national charity, which are:

Support anyone affected by the death of a baby

Work in partnership with health professionals to improve the quality of care and services offered to bereaved families; and

Promote research and changes in practice that could help to reduce the loss of babies' lives

 

Leeds Sands covers a wide area.  You don't have to live in Leeds for our support.
