Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On May 9 2015 myself and my friend Paul will complete the Rat Race; Dirty Weekend.  This is a 20 mile race over 200 obstacles.  The reason we are doing this is to raise much needed funds for a beautiful local girl called Ruby; a 2 year old facing a much bigger and braver battle.

Our 2 year old son attends our local nursery Scallywags, his little friend Ruby Laura Young has been diagnosed with stage 4, high risk neuroblastoma -an aggressive childhood cancer.  The family are fundraising for the NCCA UK to help Ruby, and other children like her, should she need to follow an expensive treatment path.  With high risk neuroblastoma diagnosis, the probability of relapse is high so by raising as much money as we can we can ensure that every possible avenue for treatment is open to her.

Please  help us to help Ruby.
