Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This summer I am riding from London to Paris on a bicycle to raise money for children in need.
I have started training and am just beginning to see what a great challenge this will be for my body, mind and spirit. Daily training to build up to riding 60 miles per day is going to take a lot of dedication, perseverence, will power and commitment. (Honestly - this is a HUGE endeavor for me to be taking on - SERIOUSLY - 60 miles+ a day for 4 days is SCARY to me at this point but I am determined to do it!!!!)
Why am I doing it? Because each day, all over the world, there are children in need who have no one to advocate for them, no one to care for them and no one to provide for them. As a teacher I am blessed by the joy of children each day and feel it is important to give back to those in need.
