Lewy body dementia is the second most common cause of age-related dementia, affecting around 130,000 people in the UK. We raise awareness of the disease, provide information to patients and carers, and fund research so that in future it can be more easily diagnosed and treated.

Story

At the very beginning of 2018 my beloved Grandmother, Margaret Stanford, died just a year after being diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. I had never heard of the disease but had discovered that it was a fast, aggressive but sadly little-know form of dementia. With my association with Showtime Challenge and Eyebrow Productions I knew that I could do something to raise awareness and money for the Lewy Body Society.

Therefore, on the 13th October I will be conducting a performance of Singin' in the Rain, hosted by Julian Clary, with a cast of 120 and an orchestra of 22 at the Adelphi Theater in London after rehearsing for just 48 hours.  Fully staged, fully choreographed and fully rehearsed in just two days.  Please support the show by buying tickets here: https://www.showtimechallenge.co.uk

However, if you cannot attend the show, please consider donating whatever you can, however small, in order to fund research into this awful disease.  Even 50p will help, and will ensure that families in the future will have better support and care.
