Story

I'VE DONE IT!!! Thank you so much for all your support...it was the hardest but best thing i've ever done!!

Against all the odds, i've conquered Kilimanjaro in an effort to support the fight against dementia for the Alzheimer's Society...

Many of you should already know of my long awaited dream to conquer the highest free-standing mountain (also an inactive volcano...!!) in the world - Kilimanjaro. So finally my dream has been realised!!!

On 9th Feb 2012 - almost the 10 year anniversary of my climb to the top of Mount Kenya - I endeavoured to climb to the top of Kilimanjaro & reached the snow-capped Uhuru Peak at 5,896m.

This was a hugely challenging trek at altitude - climbing one of the most well-known mountains in the world to raise money for such an amazing & worthy charity - The Alzheimer's Society.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now...it will make all the difference to so many lives...

Thank you very much

Leila xXx
