On the 5th September 2011 at 40+5 weeks pregnant, our lives changed forever...

After noticing that my usually very active little baby had not moved all day, my husband and I drove to the hospital for all to be checked out thinking we were being overly cautious only to be to be told that our precious long awaited baby boy had passed away.

Words cannot describe how we felt.

No parent should ever have to say goodbye to their child, which is why I have set up this page.....to try to make a difference in memory of our precious son.

Horsham & District SANDS are a wonderful charity offering support to anyone affected by the death of a baby and promote research into reducing the unnecessary loss of baby's lives. The group is based in Horsham, West Sussex and is part of National UK Sands. Covering a wide area and supporting parents and their families, Horsham and District Sands are entirely self funded and therefore completely rely on fundraising and donations.

I have found such a comfort from all they have had to offer so far and now as a thank you to the charity, and of course in memory of our Son Lennie and all the little ones lost too soon, I am dedicated to raise vital funds to help support others, raise awareness and ultimately make a difference to lives of those who may sadly walk in our shoes one day.

 

Ideally we want to help reduce the shocking statistics of 17 stillborn and neonatal deaths a day in the UK. All those little lives lost and all the families affected!
