Story

As the first rays of light, from a new year, spread across the peaks of the Himalayan mountain range, a band of bleary eyed runnners will make their first tentative steps in the Annapurna ultra-marathon.

This year, a group of four, drawn from across the globe and with very different reasons for running, will be amongst these priveleged few.

As part of this team I will be raising money for a charity that I and my family have been close to for a number of years: "Riding for the Disabled". The RDA has been working with people with disabilities for the past 40 years, to provide opportunities, therapy and enjoyment through riding.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and please, if you have the chance, sponsor the RDA through my page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
