<p>As the first rays of light, from a new year, spread across the peaks of the Himalayan mountain range, a band of bleary eyed runnners will make their first tentative steps in the Annapurna ultra-marathon.&nbsp;</p> <p>This year, a group of four, drawn from across the globe and with very different reasons for running, will be amongst these priveleged few.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>As part of this team I will be raising money for a charity that I and my family have been close to for a number of years: "Riding for the Disabled".
