Dear friends and family, near and far,

I'm riding in the Bethany Sportive 2013  on the 1st of June to raise money for the Bethany Christian Trust who help homeless and vulnerable people all over Scotland. In these tough economic times, Bethany are being stretched to the limit as more and more people are calling on their services. I'm aiming to raise £300 to help them in their work.

I'll be riding 102 miles/164 kilometres through the Scottish Borders along a route that includes 8000 feet/2400 metres worth of climbs.  It makes me feel tired even thinking about it! My goal is to do it in 7 hours... 

If you can help me reach my target of £300, that would be fantastic.
