As if graduating and starting a new job isn't enough I have decided to celebrate my new hat by running the 8K Undercliff Run for Women on October 11th!
I did my last placement at Rise and am running to raise money to say a big thank you to the incredible staff and service users there. This year they are trying to raise money to support their helpline - the only local domestic abuse helpline in Brighton & Hove and West Sussex. Last year it was only open part time hours and took 1811 calls!! This year it is open in office hours, monday to friday and needs funds desperately.
Please give generously, every penny will go towards helping local women, children and young people affected by domestic abuse. If not for Rise - the thought of me up at the crack of dawn on October 11th running along the undercliff should be worth a few bob!!

PS 8K is 5 miles, if I manage that I only have to add another 21 miles on top to do the Marathon in April!
