VSO is an international development organisation that brings people together to share skills, build capabilities, and change lives to make the world a fairer place for all. Everyday, VSO volunteers are working to empower people living in some of the world’s most marginalised communities.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and for your support.

I am raising money for Voluntary Service Overseas to support the excellent work it does in training and funding volunteers to live and work in many areas of the developing world. Their work is intended to enable changes to be made that are important and sustainable.

To do this I am walking from Kenilworth, where I now live, to Grimsby, where I spent my formative years - a small matter of 150 miles.  I shall start my walk on 30th July 2012 and hope to complete it in St James' Square on Sunday 12th August.  I plan to walk alone but anyone who wishes is welcome to join me - see the details of the walk and much  more on my blog at http://hometohomewalk.wordpress.com and you can also see more on my Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/lesbell53

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
