<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>In 1998 I had open heart surgery to replace a dodgy aortic valve via a Ross procedure at the Brompton Hospital - I am running this 10k to thank them for making me fit and well enough to contemplate undertaking such a feat!!</p> <p>Additionally, earlier this year, my godson - Hugo Altendorf, also had life saving surgery there at the wonderful paediatric cardiology unit - which is threatened with closure!! His Dad, Mike, and I are doing the run together to do our bit to try to keep it open!!</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
