Business leaders unite to fight homelessness, sleeping outdoors for one night alongside their peers, giving up the comfort of a warm bed to raise funds charities on the frontline of homelessness. CEO Sleepout events take place in cities across the UK. Will you join us?

Story

On Thursday the 23rd of March our very own Lesley Houghton will be giving up her bed to sleep rough in Newcastle United's stands to raise money and awareness of poverty an homelessness.

She decided to join the sleepout to gain some awareness about the realities of sleeping rough. Everyone is struggling in this cost-of-living crisis but there are some struggling more than others.

We want to experience what those without a home go through, to understand how we can do more to help.

It's heartbreaking that you can't even do your weekly shopping these days without passing 2 or 3 people sleeping or begging in the shop doorways.

If you can spare just £1 it all adds up, the CEO Sleepout works with some amazing charities here in Newcastle.
