Lesley & Ronald's page

We are fundraising in memory of Layla Jade Lovie.
Sadly on New Years Day at 5.30am 2013, Layla passed away in her sleep, aged 11 days. Layla was a delight to behold and filled our hearts with an enormous joy from the moment she was born.
After a little help to concieve, Jenna and Ronald welcomed the late but safe arrival of their beautiful daughter Layla Jade Lovie. She was born on December 21st 2012 at 6.37am weighing a healthy 6lbs 13 & 3/4.
We cherished the time we spent with Layla, she was just perfect & very much loved by us.
When we received the news of Layla's death it filled us with a heartache & grief so deep and threw her parents into a darkness like no other. It was only with the support and extreme kindness from others that Layla's parents, Jenna Yeats & Ronald Lovie, that they managed to come through such a sad time.
So, It is with dignity and strength that they wish to fundraise on behalf of their beautiful daughter and other families to help raise awareness and prevent others experiencing this terrible loss & it is with the same dignity & strenght that we wish to add to the fundraising for Layla, Jenna & Ronald's chosen charity - Scottish Cot Death Trust.
We wish to mention & thank all who have donated so far to Layla's Angels On Layla's Page, firstly at the funeral, raising the tremendous amount of £450.00 towards the charity & since then all of Jenna & Ronalds friends & family who have donated towards Layla's, Jenna & Ronald's charity of choice, Scottish Cot Death Trust, bringing the total to over £1,645.00 in the first 24hrs & which now stands at just over £3,000.00. We would also like to thank all Layla's new Angels that have joined Layla, Jenna & Ronald in fundraising for the team bringing the team target to over £6000 already & raising much needed funds which will go towards Layla's, Jenna & Ronalds chosen charity & which we are at last very proud to say we are one of. So, "good luck to our colleagues at Layla's Angels & thank you for your time & hard work so far".
