We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Most families have been affected by cancer and mine has too.  My grandmother had bowel cancer but died at the age of 69. My mother had breast cancer and has survived thanks to prompt treatment by the NHS.  Her sister is now battling bowel cancer and is on chemo until September. A number of close friends have also had this awful disease and so my fiance, Kelvin and I have chosen this charity for its magnificent support for those suffering with it.

A wonderful lady called Alison, originally from Caerphilly but now living in Bristol has decided to organise a "record breaking midsummer skinny dip" on June 19th at Rhosilli in aid of Marie Curie and The National Trust.  We need 300 people to join in to break the current world record, the people from The Guiness Book of Records will be there to count us!  The thought of stripping down to the buff and braving the cold waters of Rhosilli Bay is making me feel very queasy but "it is all in a good cause" so to make my embarrassment more "bare-able" please donate and help me raise £500! The overall target is £13,000
