Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Did the jump on Frdiay....just how fantastic it was...words fail to describe it. All I can say is that if you've ever thought about doing a skydive, stop thinking and do it!. Thanks to everyone that donated, you were all so very generous..thank you!

Unfortunately, bad weather meant I couldn't jump on 14th August as planned. I will be arranging a new date shortly. In the meantime, please read about my original plan below, and thanks for your support. - NOW REBOOKED FOR FRIDAY 3rd SEPTEMBER.
I couldn't think of what to have as a birthday present this year, so in a rash moment a skydive seemed a great idea. My son, David, is jumping on the same day, it's his belated 21st birthday present, so I blame him. We're both doing a tandem jump, but, hopefully, we won't be strapped together and we'll each have our own instructor!
I don't like heights, so this will be a real challenge. So, on 14th August, as I throw myself out of the plane from 12,000 feet, I'll try to remember that the falling doesn't hurt, and hopefully the instructor will make sure the landing is painless!
Having made the decision to jump, it would be silly to pass up the chance to raise some money for a good cause, so I have decided to raise money for Little Havens Children's Hospice. This is a local hospice that does truly magnificent things for very sick children and their families. I've been lucky to enough to have three fit and healthy children, others aren't so lucky so this is my chance to help out (painlessly I hope!).
