My previous career was as an Advanced Trauma Technician with the Royal Army Medical Corps, having served for over 12 years (in every major conflict since 1989 until my medical discharge with PTSD in 2004) I was one of a very lucky few who managed to receive treatment for my condition through the charity combat stress - The leading service provider in the care of Veterans' mental health.
