Story

30 years ago this year, thousands of men, women and children were massacred in Sabra and Shatilla refugee camps in Beirut.

Today some 12,000 people still live there. The only drinking water available to them is a series of water tanks provided by the UN.

However, one of BibleLands partners (JCC) has created a kindergarten and nursery, where around 70 children are able to learn and play.

I'm doing the 10K as a mark of respect for those who died in 1982, and also to raise funds to extend the facilities for the children of 2012.
