Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

26.2 miles! I've been reading that you should start training 6 months before the race, I'm finding it quite daunting so I've started training early..... I want to actually make it over the finish line you see!

I'd also like to raise as much as possible so as well as starting training early, I am also starting fundraising early!

I've set up a blog (http://lewiseaton.tumblr.com/) which I'm hoping to update weekly to track my weeks training progress

Anyhoo, Spinal Research is a great charity funding scientific research into repairing damaged spinal cords and fighting paralysis. So what better way to fund scientific research than to do a sponsored marathon?
