<p>Well after doing a little spectating for last year's marathon, I felt really inspired to give it a go.</p> <p>Training was slow starting - I'd never run like this before and after that first two mile run, I was starting to realise just what i had signed up for. &nbsp;But after the first month of training I was starting to get into it - even enjoy it a little!</p> <p>I'm sponsoring Emmaus because when I was street sweeping on my barrow in Mile Oak, especially in those dead winters they always made me a mean cup of tea - and they do a hell of a lot more important work than that! &nbsp;They are lovely people doing great work in the community for homeless people in particular. &nbsp;Please give generously :-) &nbsp;Thank you.</p>
