Herts Air Ambulance
Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust is an independent fundraising plan to help the people of Hertfordshire finance a life-saving Air Ambulance. The aircraft operates 5 days a week and carries an Accident and Emergency qualified Doctor and Paramedic. In record time clinicians and life-saving support equipment can be rushed to the scene of an incident. And the patient can then be taken back to an appropriate hospital within minutes. Every single second counts in the game of life and death, and HAA fight to win the race every day.
Now maintaining the life-saving helicopter will cost around £80,000 per month and every life-saving flight costs in excess of £2,000. With no support from the government, HAA is purely run my donations by kind people like you and me. Charity events like this one help raise a small percentage of the funds they need to keep them in the air.
