my last updated: 'n+1' campaign

The campaign marked an end with my discovery, "Making Art can not be done with a purpose. Art is not a functional object."

I created a durational artwork 'n+1' to raise money for Mind - The Mental Health Charity in 2012/13. Having a purpose in mind and doing arts, it wasn't possible at the end. 'n+1' has raised my awareness and better understanding about mental health, and what ways can improve our mental health in our daily life.

With this art piece I aim to raise awareness of mental health and the work of Mind, the mental health charity. My practice contemplates time as a construction of the mind and seeks to explore how this can be marked, mapped, experienced and communicated through daily challenges and actions.

I have developed a structure in which to explore the space of time, the potentiality of 'taking no action' and 'performing the change', by utilising my numbers notation.
