My mother was a very happy hard working and caring person - as she got older she lost her recent memory, that meant that she did not recognise any member of our the family in the present , she could only remember them in the distant past.For instance she was always waiting for me toget home from school - I have a wife and children, and she had two grandchildren, I still find it very sad to think she could not enjoy what she would have been very proud of.
